Elpia Seven is a Bible trivia app — not systematic theology nor the catechesis of any single tradition. This page explains the stance our content takes, how we review it, and how you can report a question.

1. Editorial scope

1.1 Guiding principle

Content is framed in the biblical text and its historical and literary narrative, not in the specific doctrinal interpretations of any one denomination. We aim for the common ground shared across Christian traditions: facts, characters, geography, chronology, and vocabulary that most traditions recognize.

1.2 What we include

• Narrative facts (characters, events, and relationships documented in the text).
• Biblical geography, chronology, and genealogy.
• Parables (their literal content, not contested allegorical interpretations).
• General biblical wisdom (Proverbs, Psalms, Ecclesiastes in their literal sense).
• Biblical vocabulary with academic consensus and well-documented historical events.

1.3 What we do not include

We avoid questions where there is no single answer common to all traditions. These topics of denominational divergence do not appear as a closed answer in daily or competitive trivia:

• The biblical canon as a single number (it varies across Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox traditions).
• Sacraments and ordinances (baptism, Eucharist/communion).
• Mariology and the veneration of saints.
• Detailed eschatology (views on the millennium, the rapture, kingdoms).
• Non-consensus divine attributes, ecclesiology, the liturgical calendar, hermeneutics, and spiritual gifts.

When such a topic is relevant, it is framed explicitly (for example, "according to the Protestant tradition" / "according to the Catholic tradition") and, by default, reserved for the learning mode with that framing — never as a single answer in a live game.

1.4 Doubtful topics

Some topics (prophecy, applied ethics, questions of roles, biblical politics) are evaluated case by case. The default rule is simple: when in doubt, leave it out of daily and competitive trivia.

2. Review process

New or AI-curated content passes through a review gate before it reaches users: every question enters as a draft and is only served once a reviewer approves it. Unapproved content is never shown and never grants rewards.

Approval is supported by an interdenominational reviewer panel representing the major Christian traditions of the Spanish-speaking world:

• Roman Catholic
• Evangelical / Protestant
• Pentecostal / charismatic

Content is sorted by divergence risk: common ground is published directly, potentially divergent items are reviewed by a reviewer of the relevant tradition, and clearly sensitive items require a full-panel review with a consensus decision. If there is no consensus, the question is not published. Every decision is logged.

3. How to report a question

Every trivia question includes a report button inside the app. You can flag the type of problem (incorrect answer, doctrinal or denominational bias, misquoted scripture, a typo or grammar error, or other) and add an optional comment.

Reports are triaged and prioritized as follows:

• Every report is logged and enters the review queue.
• If a question accrues several doctrinal-bias reports, it is flagged for urgent panel review.
• The editorial team decides: fix, unpublish, or keep the question (with its justification).
